"SOLUTIONS" That is What We Do

Since 1980, Armstrong Accountancy has provided clients with "solutions" to accounting, auditing, financial planning, consulting, litigation support, and tax matters for individual and business clients. In 1967, Charles H. Armstrong, Jr. commenced his professional career as an accounting staff for a local Dallas CPA firm while enrolled in Graduate School. Effective January 2, 1968, he was hired as a founding staff accountant with the recently formed firm of Saville & Dodgen. During the next three (3) years, Mr. Armstrong served as a staff Manager responsible for audits of public and non-public companies. He also had extensive experience in the preparation of tax returns for individuals, corporations, trusts, and estates under the tutorage of John Saville. In 1971, Mr. Armstrong joined a former partner of Saville & Dodgen in establishing McKinnon and Armstrong CPAs. Then, in 1980, Mr. Armstrong and staff established a CPA firm now know as Armstrong Accountancy.

Areas of Professional Engagements

During fifty-four years in public accounting, Mr.Armstrong has performed engagemetns in litigation support, as expert witness and consulting expert, forensic accounting, bankruptcy, and contract negotiations, in addition to tax consulting, tax preparation, auditing, and business consulting for both profit and non-profit organizations.

Mr. Armstrong has extensive experiences with general businesses, manufacturing, hospitals, doctors, medical services, oil and gas, attorneys and law firms. Mr. Armstrong has experience in litigation support and forensic accounting, having investigated business fraud and issues of misfeasancesa nd malfeasances. Mr. Armstrong has successfully represented clients in exess of one hundred Internal Revenue Service audits including several cases appealed to the United State Tax Court. Mr Armstrong has designed and implemented computer systems for oil and gas distributions, attorney billing systems, general accounting, and personal financial planning.
